Receivership of nursing home facilities and residential care homes: Definitions.","body":"As used in this section and sections 19a-542 to 19a-549, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) “Nursing home facility” has the same meaning as provided in section 19a-490;\n(2) “Emergency” means a situation, physical condition or one or more practices, methods or operations that presents imminent danger of death or serious physical or mental harm to residents of a nursing home facility;\n(3) “Transfer trauma” means the medical and psychological reactions to physical transfer that increase the risk of death or grave illness, or both, in elderly persons;\n(4) “Substantial violation” means a violation of law that presents a reasonable likelihood of serious physical or mental harm to residents of a nursing home facility or residential care home; and\n(5) “Residential care home” has the same meaning as provided in section 19a-490.","path":["TITLE 19a.
