Stat. § 2-71e","heading":"Staff for legislative commissions and interim committees.","body":"Legislative commissions and legislative interim committees, with the approval of the Joint Committee on Legislative Management, may employ such professional and research staff, clerical assistants and other personnel as they may require for the discharge of their duties. After recommendation by such commission or committee, the Joint Committee on Legislative Management shall fix the compensation to be paid for such services. The Comptroller is directed to draw his order on the Treasurer in payment for any sum approved or expended by the Joint Committee on Legislative Management from the legislative appropriation for the current or subsequent fiscal year upon certification to him by such committee.","path":["TITLE 2.
