Stat. § 20-14t","heading":"Provision of information re risk of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy.","body":"(a) As used in this section:\n(1) “Advanced practice registered nurse” means an individual licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse pursuant to chapter 378;\n(2) “Physician” means an individual licensed as a physician pursuant to this chapter;\n(3) “Physician assistant” means an individual licensed as a physician assistant pursuant to this chapter; and\n(4) “Sudden unexpected death in epilepsy” means the death of a person with epilepsy that is not caused by injury, drowning or other known causes unrelated to epilepsy.\n(b) On and after October 1, 2025, each physician, advanced practice registered nurse and physician assistant who regularly treats patients with epilepsy shall provide each such patient with information concerning the risk of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy and methods to mitigate such risk.","path":["TITLE 20.
