Application.","body":"(a) No real property security shall be sold to the public without either the issuer or the real property securities dealer first obtaining a permit from the commission.\n(b) Each application for a permit to sell any real property securities shall be made in writing, on such forms and in such manner and accompanied by such evidence in support of such application as is prescribed by the commission. The commission may require such information with regard to the applicant as the commission deems desirable, with due regard to the paramount interests of the public as to the honesty, truthfulness, integrity and competency of the applicant. The Commissioner of Consumer Protection, with the advice and assistance of the commission, may, by regulation adopted in accordance with chapter 54, establish reasonable filing fees, which shall not be less than forty dollars.
