Stat. § 31-245","heading":"Authority to administer oaths and issue subpoenas.","body":"In the discharge of the duties imposed by this chapter, the administrator, the examiners, the referees, the hearing officials designated pursuant to subsection (b) of section 31-237d and subsection (b) of section 31-273, and the chairman of the board shall have power to administer oaths and affirmations, certify to official acts and issue subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of books, papers, correspondence, memoranda and other records deemed necessary as evidence in connection with the disputed claim or the administration of this chapter.","path":["TITLE 31.
