Powers of commissioner.","body":"(a) The commissioner shall have power to examine and investigate into the affairs of every insurance institution or agent doing business in this state to determine whether the institution or agent has been engaged or is engaging in any conduct in violation of sections 38a-975 to 38a-998, inclusive.\n(b) The commissioner shall have the power to examine and investigate into the affairs of every insurance-support organization acting on behalf of an insurance institution or agent which transacts business within this state or without this state which has an effect on a resident of this state in order to determine whether such insurance-support organization has been engaged or is engaging in any conduct in violation of sections 38a-975 to 38a-998, inclusive.","path":["TITLE 38a.
