Stat. § 42a-9-709","heading":"Priority.","body":"(a) Public act 01-132* determines the priority of conflicting claims to collateral. However, if the relative priorities of the claims were established before October 1, 2001, sections 42a-9-101 to 42a-9-507, inclusive, of the general statutes, revision of 1958, revised to January 1, 2001, determine priority.\n(b) For purposes of subsection (a) of section 42a-9-322, the priority of a security interest that becomes enforceable under section 42a-9-203 dates from October 1, 2001, if the security interest is perfected under public act 01-132* by the filing of a financing statement before October 1, 2001, which would not have been effective to perfect the security interest under sections 42a-9-101 to 42a-9-507, inclusive, of the general statutes, revision of 1958, revised to January 1, 2001.
