Stat. § 8-355","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in sections 8-355 to 8-359, inclusive:\n(1) “Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Housing.\n(2) “Community housing development corporation” means a corporation which has qualified for assistance under section 8-217.\n(3) “Homeless person” means any person who does not have overnight shelter or sufficient income or resources to secure such shelter.\n(4) “Nonprofit corporation” shall be construed as defined in section 8-39.\n(5) “Utility allowance” means the average monthly amount a person or family spends for heat and other utilities, excluding telephone, which is not supplied or paid for by the owner of the dwelling unit rented by the person or family.","path":["TITLE 8.
