Code § 1-1163.19","heading":"Aggregate and individual contribution limits of exploratory committees.","body":"(a)\nExploratory committees shall not receive aggregate contributions in excess of:\n(1)\n$200,000 for a Mayoral exploratory committee;\n(1A)\n$150,000 for an Attorney General exploratory committee;\n(2)\n$150,000 for a Chairman of the Council exploratory committee;\n(3)\n$100,000 for an at-large member of the Council exploratory committee;\n(4)\n$50,000 for a Ward Councilmember or at-large member of the State Board of Education exploratory committee; and\n(5)\n$20,000 for a ward member of the State Board of Education exploratory committee.\n\n(b)\nNo person, including a business contributor, may make contributions in excess of:\n(1)\n$2,000 for a Mayoral exploratory committee;\n(1A)\n$1,500 for an Attorney General exploratory committee;\n(2)\n$1,500 for a Chairman of the Council exploratory committee;\n(3)\n$1,000 for an at-large member of the Council exploratory committee;\n(4)\n$500 for a Ward Councilmember or at-large member of the State Board of Education exploratory committee; and\n(5)\n$200 for a ward member of the State Board of Education exploratory committee.","path":["Title 1.
