Code § 1-301.47","heading":"","body":"For the purposes of any act or resolution of the Council of the District of Columbia, unless specifically provided otherwise, the term:\n\n(a)\n(1)\n\"Act\" means an Act of the Congress.\n(2)\n\"act\" means an act of the Council.\n(3)\n\"Attorney General\" means the Attorney General for the District of Columbia or designee established under § 1-204.35.\n(4)\n\"Council\" means the Council of the District of Columbia established under § 1-204.01.\n(5)\n\"District\" means the District of Columbia.\n(6)\n\"Home Rule Act\" means the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, Chapter 2 of this title.\n(7)\n\"Mayor\" means the Mayor of the District of Columbia established under § 1-204.21.","path":["Title 1.
