Code § 1-325.322","heading":"Teen Pregnancy Prevention Fund.","body":"(a)\nThere is established a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Fund (“Fund”) to provide grants to nonprofit organizations.\n\n(b)\nGrants from the Fund shall be awarded by the Department of Health to nonprofit organizations for the purpose of implementing the following types of programs, consistent with an evidence-based, community-wide teen pregnancy prevention model:\n(1)\nHealth services for teens;\n(2)\nReproductive health education;\n(3)\nProfessional development and training;\n(4)\nResearch and policy development related to teen pregnancy; and\n(5)\nPublic education and awareness on teen pregnancy.\n\n(c)\nGrants from the Fund shall be awarded, subject to the availability of funding, as follows:\n(1)\nAll grants shall be awarded on a competitive basis;\n(2)\nThe grant funds shall be used exclusively to serve District of Columbia residents; and\n(3)\nAll grants shall be subject to subchapter II of Chapter 5 of Title 2.\n\n(d)\nThe Fund shall be administered pursuant to the requirements set forth in part B of subchapter XII-A of this chapter.\n\n(e)\nRepealed.","path":["Title 1.
