Code § 1-621.53","heading":"Duties.","body":"(a)\nThe Advisory Committee shall:\n(1)\nAdvise the Office of the Chief Financial Officer regarding:\n(A)\nGeneral administration of the Fund;\n(B)\nFund investment objectives and practices;\n(C)\nFund portfolio composition and asset allocation;\n(D)\nAuthorized Fund investments;\n(E)\nThe creation of relevant assumptions necessary for administration of the Fund;\n(F)\nReview the selection of other post-employment benefits consultants and other professionals, including:\n(i)\nActuaries;\n(ii)\nAccountants:\n(iii)\nFinancial advisors;\n(iv)\nInvestment managers; and\n(v)\nLawyers;\n(2)\nReview the policies and practices of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer with regard to the Fund and provide recommendations regarding best practices;\n(3)\nReview and critique the investment performance of the Fund; and\n(4)\nAdvise the Office of the Chief Financial Officer regarding the potential for collaboration or consolidation with the District of Columbia Retirement Board in the management of the Fund in order to promote efficiency.\n\n(b)\nBy February 1st of each fiscal year, the Advisory Committee shall transmit written recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer for inclusion in the annual report for the Fund pursuant to § 1-621.09f(a)(2)(C).","path":["Title 1.
