Code § 16-2931","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a)\nFor the purposes of this subchapter, the term:\n(1)\n\"Determination of value\" means a court order:\n(A)\nDetermining the fair market value of real property pursuant to § 16-2934 or § 16-2938; or\n(B)\nAdopting the valuation of real property agreed to by all cotenants.\n(2)\n\"Partition by sale\" means a court-ordered sale of the entire real property, whether by auction, sealed bids, or open-market sale conducted pursuant to § 16-2938.\n(3)\n\"Partition in kind\" means the division of real property into physically distinct and separately titled parcels.\n(4)\n\"Record\" means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in perceivable form.","path":["Title 16.
