Code § 16-5611","heading":"Temporary order or award.","body":"(a)\nBefore an arbitrator is selected and able to act, on motion of a party, the Superior Court may enter a temporary order under this title.\n\n(b)\nAfter an arbitrator is selected:\n(1)\nThe arbitrator may make a temporary award under this title; and\n(2)\nIf the matter is urgent and the arbitrator is not able to act in a timely manner or provide an adequate remedy, on motion of a party, the Superior Court may enter a temporary order.\n\n(c)\nOn motion of a party, before the Superior Court confirms a final award, the court under § 16-5616, § 16-5618, or § 16-5619 may confirm, correct, vacate, or amend a temporary award made under subsection (b)(1) of this section.\n\n(d)\nOn motion of a party, the Superior Court may enforce a subpoena or interim award issued by an arbitrator for the fair and expeditious disposition of the arbitration.","path":["Title 16.
