Code § 16-5618","heading":"Correction by Superior Court of unconfirmed award.","body":"(a)\nOn motion of a party made not later than 90 days after an arbitrator gives notice under § 16-5615(a) of an award, including an award corrected under § 16-5617, the Superior Court shall correct the award if:\n(1)\nThe award has an evident mathematical miscalculation or an evident mistake in the description of a person, thing, or property;\n(2)\nThe award is imperfect in a matter of form not affecting the merits of the issues submitted; or\n(3)\nThe arbitrator made an award on a dispute not submitted to the arbitrator and the award may be corrected without affecting the merits of the issues submitted.\n\n(b)\nA motion under this section to correct an award may be joined with a motion to vacate or amend the award under § 16-5619.\n\n(c)\nUnless a motion under § 16-5619 is pending, the Superior Court may confirm a corrected award under § 16-5616.","path":["Title 16.
