Code § 16-831.04","heading":"Third-party custody orders.","body":"(a)\nA custody order entered under this chapter may include any of the following:\n(1)\nSole legal custody to the third party;\n(2)\nSole physical custody to the third party;\n(3)\nJoint legal custody between the third party and a parent;\n(4)\nJoint physical custody between the third party and a parent; or\n(5)\nAny other custody arrangement the court determines is in the best interests of the child.\n\n(b)\nAn order granting relief under this chapter shall be in writing and shall recite the findings upon which the order is based.","path":["Title 16.
