Code § 2-1517.51","heading":"Family resource guide.","body":"(a)\nBy October 1, 2013, the Mayor shall create a comprehensive resource guide for families who come into contact with the child welfare or juvenile justice systems. The guide shall include:\n(1)\nA clear explanation of the rights and responsibilities of children and families;\n(2)\nThe role of District agencies, including the:\n(A)\nChild and Family Services Agency;\n(B)\nDepartment of Youth Rehabilitation Services;\n(C)\nDepartment of Mental Health; and\n(D)\nDepartment of Health Care Finance;\n(3)\nThe role of the courts;\n(4)\nDistrict government and non-governmental resources related to behavioral health, including contact information; and\n(5)\nWebsites for District government agencies and nongovernment resources related to behavioral health.\n\n(b)\nThe resource guide shall be:\n(1)\nMade publicly available on the Internet;\n(2)\nUpdated as necessary, along with updates of the information described in subsection (a)(4) and (5) of this section; and\n(3)\nMade available to other District agencies for distribution.","path":["Title 2.
