Code § 22-1314.01","heading":"Definitions.","body":"For the purpose of § 22-1314.02, the term:\n\n(1)\n“Health professional” means a person licensed to practice a health occupation in the District pursuant to § 3-1201.01.\n\n(2)\n“Medical facility” includes a hospital, clinic, physician’s office, or other facility that provides health or surgical services.\n\n(3)\n“Person” shall not include:\n(A)\nThe chief medical officer of the medical facility or his or her designee;\n(B)\nThe chief executive officer of the medical facility or his or her designee;\n(C)\nAn agent of the medical facility; or\n(D)\nA law enforcement officer in the performance of his or her official duty.","path":["Title 22.
