Code § 23-551","heading":"Procedure for disclosure and suppression of intercepted wire or oral communications.","body":"(a)\nThe contents of any intercepted wire or oral communication or evidence derived therefrom shall not be received in evidence or otherwise disclosed in any trial, hearing, or other proceeding in or before any court, department, officer, agency, regulatory body, or other authority of the United States or the District of Columbia unless not less than ten days before the trial, hearing, or proceeding —\n(1)\nthe inventory as provided in section 23-550 has been served; and\n(2)\nthe parties to the action have been served with a copy of the order and accompanying application under which the interception was authorized or approved.\n\n(b)\nAny aggrieved person in any trial, hearing, or proceeding in or before any court, department, officer, agency, regulatory body, or other authority of the United States or the District of Columbia, may move to suppress the contents of any intercepted wire or oral communication, or evidence derived therefrom, on the grounds that —\n(1)\nthe communication was unlawfully intercepted;\n(2)\nthe order of authorization or approval under which it was intercepted is insufficient on its face;\n(3)\nthe interception was not made in conformity with the order of authorization or approval;\n(4)\nservice was not made as provided in section 23-547; or\n(5)\nthe seal prescribed by section 23-549(a) is not present and there is no satisfactory explanation for its absence.","path":["Title 23.
