Code § 24-211.71","heading":"Department of Corrections resident and returning citizen assistance grant.","body":"(a)\nIn Fiscal Year 2017 and each fiscal year thereafter, of the annual funds available to the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (\"Office\"), no less than $125,000 shall be awarded to an organization that assists individuals currently in the custody of or recently released from the District of Columbia Jail or the Correctional Treatment Facility.\n\n(b)\nThe Office shall award the grant funds provided under subsection (a) of this section in their entirety as early in the fiscal year as is feasible.
