Code § 24-282","heading":"Establishment of Resident Welfare Fund; audit; report.","body":"(a)\nThere is established as a special fund the Resident Welfare Fund (\"Fund\"), which shall be administered by the Director of the Department of Corrections in accordance with § 24-283.\n\n(b)\nMonies derived from the sale of goods through the commissary at correctional facilities shall be deposited in the Fund.\n\n(c)\nAny money remaining available in the Fund at the end of a fiscal year, as determined by the Chief Financial Officer in the fiscal year-end close, shall be transferred to the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia as part of the fiscal year-end close.\n\n(d)\nRepealed.\n\n(e)\nRepealed.","path":["Title 24.
