Code § 26-711","heading":"Use of women-owned banks.","body":"(a)\nRecipients of District of Columbia government contracts are encouraged to use women-owned banks and federally or District chartered minority-owned banks certified by the Small and Local Business Opportunity Commission in accordance with subchapter IX-A of Chapter 2 of Title 2.\n\n(b)\nThe Mayor shall, pursuant to subchapter I of Chapter 5 of Title 2, issue rules to implement the provisions of this section within 90 days of March 16, 1989.
