Code § 28:2A-104","heading":"Leases subject to other law.","body":"(a)\nA lease, although subject to this article, is also subject to any applicable:\n(1)\nCertificate of title statute of the District;\n(2)\nCertificate of title statute of another jurisdiction (§ 28:2A-105); or\n(3)\nConsumer protection statute of the District, or final consumer protection decision of a court of the District existing on the effective date of this article.\n\n(b)\nIn case of conflict between this article, other than §§ 28:2A-105, 28:2A-304(c), and 28:2A-305(c), and a statute or decision referred to in subsection (a) of this section, the statute controls.\n\n(c)\nFailure to comply with an applicable law has only the effect specified therein.","path":["Title 28.
