Code § 28:8-303","heading":"Protected purchaser.","body":"(a)\nFor the purposes of this article, the term “protected purchaser” means a purchaser of a certificated or uncertificated security, or of an interest therein, who:\n(1)\nGives value;\n(2)\nDoes not have notice of any adverse claim to the security; and\n(3)\nObtains control of the certificated or uncertificated security.\n\n(b)\nA protected purchaser also acquires its interest in the security free of any adverse claim.","path":["Title 28.
