Code § 29-104.01","heading":"Definitions.","body":"For the purposes of this subchapter, the term:\n\n(1)\n“Designation of agent” means a statement designating a registered agent, that is delivered to the Mayor for filing under § 29-104.11 by a nonregistered foreign entity or domestic nonfiling entity.\n\n(2)\n“Registered agent filing” means:\n(A)\nThe public organic record of a domestic filing entity;\n(B)\nA statement of qualification of a domestic limited liability partnership;\n(C)\nA foreign registration statement filed pursuant to § 29-105.03; or\n(D)\nAn designation of a registered agent.\n\n(3)\n“Represented entity” means a:\n(A)\nDomestic filing entity;\n(B)\nDomestic or limited liability partnership;\n(C)\nRegistered foreign entity;\n(D)\nDomestic or foreign unincorporated nonprofit association for which a designation of an agent is in effect;\n(E)\nDomestic nonfiling entity for which a designation of an agent has been filed; or\n(F)\nNonregistered foreign entity for which a designation of an agent has been filed.","path":["Title 29.
