Code § 3-1206.64","heading":"Administration of medications.","body":"(a)\nThe practice guidelines governing drugs and medications shall provide for legal authorization, storage, administration, and record keeping, including requiring that:\n(1)\nMedications be ordered by a certified-nurse midwife, CPM, certified midwife, physician, or other member of the staff who is licensed to write such orders;\n(2)\nMedication orders be recorded in the patient-client's chart and signed by the ordering person with his or her full signature; and\n(3)\nMedications be administered by a physician, nurse midwife, CPM, certified midwife, registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and in accordance with the approved practice guidelines by the Board of Medicine.","path":["Title 3.
