Code § 32-1693.03","heading":"Conditions of Program eligibility.","body":"(a)\nBeginning in Academic Year 2021-2022, to be eligible for Program assistance while pursuing an RN to BSN degree through UDC, an individual shall:\n(1)\nHave met the enrollment requirements of UDC;\n(2)\nBe a resident of the District;\n(3)\nHave a stated interest in employment in a nursing care occupation; and\n(4)\nHave not already completed a bachelor's degree at an institution of higher education.\n(5)\nRepealed.\n(6)\nRepealed.\n\n(a-1)\nBeginning with Academic Year 2023-2024, to be eligible for Program assistance while pursuing an RN to BSN degree through UDC, an individual shall:\n(1)\nHave met the enrollment requirements of UDC;\n(2)\nBe a resident of the District;\n(3)\nHave a stated interest in employment in a nursing care occupation;\n(4)\nHave not already completed a bachelor's degree at an institution of higher education;\n(5)\nHave previously obtained a credential as a CNA, HHA, or LPN; and\n(6)\nHave been employed in the District for a minimum of 2 years as a CNA, HHA, or LPN with a healthcare employer.\n\n(b)\nBeginning in Academic Year 2021-2022, to be eligible for Program assistance while pursuing an LPN to AASN degree through UDC-CC, an individual shall:\n(1)\nMeet the conditions outlined in subsection (a)(2), (3), and (4) of this section; and\n(2)\nMeet the enrollment requirements of UDC-CC.\n(3)\nRepealed.\n(4)\nRepealed.\n\n(b-1)\nBeginning with Academic Year 2023-2024, to be eligible for Program assistance while pursuing an LPN to AASN degree through UDC-CC, an individual shall:\n(1)\nMeet the conditions outlined in subsection (a)(2), (3), and (4) of this section;\n(2)\nMeet the enrollment requirements of UDC-CC;\n(3)\nHave previously obtained a credential as a CNA, HHA, or MA-C; and\n(4)\nHave been employed in the District for a minimum of 2 years as a CNA, HHA, or MA-C with a healthcare employer.\n\n(c)\nTo be eligible for Program assistance while pursuing certification as a CNA through WDLL, an individual shall:\n(1)\nMeet the conditions outlined in subsection (a)(2), (3), and (4) of this section; and\n(2)\nMeet the enrollment requirements of WDLL;\n\n(d)\nTo be eligible for Program assistance while pursuing a certification as a CNA, HHA, MA-C, or while pursuing a CNA to HHA bridge program, through a direct care worker training grantee, an individual shall:\n(1)\nMeet the conditions outlined in subsection (a)(2), (3), and (4) of this section; and;\n(2)\nMeet the enrollment requirements of the community training provider.\n\n(e)\nThe University and direct care worker training grantees shall select Program participants according to the terms of the applicable memorandum of understanding or grant agreement with the WIC.","path":["Title 32.
