Code § 32-541.10","heading":"Prohibited acts.","body":"(a)\nIt shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with, restrain, or deny the exercise of or the attempt to exercise any right provided by this subchapter.\n\n(b)\nIt shall be unlawful for an employer to retaliate in any manner against any person because the person:\n(1)\nOpposes any practice made unlawful by this subchapter;\n(2)\nPursuant to or related to this subchapter:\n(A)\nFiles or attempts to file a charge;\n(B)\nInstitutes or attempts to institute a proceeding;\n(C)\nFacilitates the institution of a proceeding; or\n(D)\nRequests, applies for, or uses paid-leave benefits; or\n(3)\nGives any information or testimony in connection with an inquiry or proceeding related to this subchapter.\n\n(c)\nIt shall be unlawful for any individual to provide intentionally false statements in order to obtain paid-leave benefits.","path":["Title 32.
