Code § 34-2101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"For the purposes of this subchapter:\n\n(1)\nThe term “sanitary sewage” means:\n(A)\nDomestic sewage with storm and surface water limited;\n(B)\nSewage discharging from sanitary conveniences;\n(C)\nCommercial or industrial wastes; and\n(D)\nWater supply after it has been used.\n\n(2)\nThe term “stormwater sewage” means liquid flowing in sewers resulting directly from precipitation.\n\n(3)\nThe term “combined sewage” means sewage containing both sanitary sewage and stormwater sewage.\n\n(4)\nThe term “sewer” means a pipe or conduit carrying sewage.\n\n(5)\nThe term “sanitary sewer” means a sewer which carries sanitary sewage.\n\n(6)\nThe term “stormwater sewer” means a sewer which carries stormwater sewage.\n\n(7)\nThe term “combined sewer” means a sewer which carries both sanitary sewage and stormwater sewage.\n\n(8)\nThe term “sanitary sewage works” means a system of sanitary and combined sewers, appurtenances, pumping stations, and treatment works for conveying, treating, and disposing of sanitary sewage.\n\n(9)\nThe term “stormwater sewer system” means a system of sewers, appurtenances, and pumping stations for conveying and disposing of stormwater sewage.\n\n(10)\nThe term “combined sewer system” means a system of sewers and appurtenances conveying both sanitary sewage and stormwater sewage.","path":["Title 34.
