Code § 36-407","heading":"Effect on other law.","body":"(a)\nExcept as provided in subsection (b) of this section, this chapter supersedes conflicting tort, restitution and other law of the District of Columbia providing civil remedies for misappropriation of a trade secret.\n\n(b)\nThis chapter does not affect:\n(1)\nContractual remedies, whether or not based upon misappropriation of a trade secret;\n(2)\nOther civil remedies that are not based upon misappropriation of a trade secret; or\n(3)\nCriminal remedies, whether or not based upon misappropriation of a trade secret.","path":["Title 36.
