Code § 38-3401","heading":"Universal street safety education.","body":"(a)\nThe Mayor shall develop and make available to public schools and public charter schools in the District an educational curriculum for children in the first through fifth grades regarding the safe use of public streets and premises open to the public by pedestrians and users of bicycles. At a minimum, the curriculum shall address:\n(1)\nThe safe use of bicycles;\n(2)\nTraffic laws and regulations;\n(3)\nThe use of bicycle lanes and trails; and\n(4)\nSafe pedestrian practices.\n\n(b)\nFor the purposes of this section, the term \"bicycle\" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 50-1609(1).","path":["Title 38.
