Code § 4-1051","heading":"Heirs' property legal assistance.","body":"(a)\nThe Mayor may issue grants to assist low-income individuals to pay for legal services necessary to obtain clear legal title to property the individual inherited either testate or intestate from a member of the individual's family.\n\n(b)\nThe grants authorized by this section may be issued to an individual eligible for assistance under subsection (a) of this section, a legal services organization providing the legal services described in subsection (a) of this section, or to a third-party grant-managing entity for the purpose of making subgrants to such individuals or organizations on behalf of the Mayor.\n\n(c)\nThe Mayor, pursuant to subchapter I of Chapter 5 of Title 2, may issue rules to implement this section.","path":["Title 4.
