Code § 4-1306.01","heading":"Rules.","body":"(a)\nThe Mayor may, pursuant to subchapter I of Chapter 5 of Title 2, issue rules to implement the provisions of this subchapter within 90 days of June 27, 2000. The proposed rules shall be submitted to the Council for a 45-day period of review, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, legal holidays, and days of Council recess. If the Council does not approve or disapprove the proposed rules, in whole or in part, by resolution within this 45-day review period, the proposed rules shall be deemed approved.\n\n(b)\nAll existing rules and regulations promulgated pursuant to this subchapter shall remain in effect until the rules promulgated pursuant to subsection (a) of this section become effective.\n\n(c)\nNotwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, the Mayor shall have full authority to enforce the provisions of subchapter.\n\n(d)\n(1)\nWithin 180 days of June 29, 2011, the Mayor, pursuant to subchapter I of Chapter 5 of Title 2, shall issue rules to implement the Families Together Amendment Act of 2010, effective September 24, 2010 (D.C. Law 18-228; 57 DCR 6926).\n(2)\nThe proposed rules shall be submitted to the Council for a 30 day period of review, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, legal holidays, and days of Council recess.  If the Council does not approve or disapprove the proposed rules, in whole or in part, by resolution within the 30 day review period, the proposed rules shall be deemed approved.","path":["Title 4.
