Code § 4-1321.08","heading":"Training for mandatory reporters.","body":"(a)\nBy December 31, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General (\"OAG\") shall, in consultation with the Child and Family Services Agency (\"CFSA\"), develop and approve a training curriculum explaining the reporting requirements of this subchapter, which shall include:\n(1)\nThe purpose of the mandatory reporting requirements;\n(2)\nThe dynamics surrounding abuse, neglect, and other forms of child victimizations that must be reported;\n(3)\nThe impact of racial bias on the mandatory reporting and child welfare systems; and\n(4)\nThe legal duties imposed on mandatory reporters, including:\n(A)\nHow to make a report, the contents of the report, and the process after a report is filed;\n(B)\nThe legal protections provided to mandatory reporters; and\n(C)\nThe penalty for failing to make a report.\n\n(b)\nAll mandatory reporters shall complete a training based upon the curriculum required by subsection (a) of this section which shall be conducted by OAG, CFSA, or a third party.","path":["Title 4.
