Code § 4-514","heading":"Annual report.","body":"The Chief Judge of the Court shall report annually to the Council of the District of Columbia on the status and activities of the Program. The report shall include, but not be limited to, the following information:\n\n(1)\nAn explanation of the procedures for filing and processing claims;\n\n(2)\nA description of the programs and policies instituted to promote public awareness about crime victims compensation;\n\n(3)\nAn analysis of future needs and suggested Program improvements;\n\n(4)\nA copy of the application forms utilized under this chapter; and\n\n(5)\nA complete statistical analysis of the cases handled, including the:\n(A)\nNumber of claims filed;\n(B)\nNumber of claims approved and the amount of each award;\n(C)\nNumber of claims denied and the reasons for rejection;\n(D)\nAverage length of time to process a claim;\n(E)\nNumber of contested cases reviewed by the Board and the disposition of those cases;\n(F)\nNumber of contested cases reviewed by the Chief Judge and the disposition of those cases;\n(G)\nNumber of cases in which a claimant was represented by an attorney or a law student;\n(H)\nCumulative total of attorneys’ fees paid;\n(I)\nBreakdown of claims by age, sex, and primary language of the victim, type of crime committed, and other relevant facts;\n(J)\nIndividual amounts of revenues attributable to assessments on misdemeanor and traffic offenses;\n(K)\nNumber of cases pending, and the future liability of the Fund; and\n(L)\nTotal amount of program expenditures for benefit payments, personnel, and other administrative costs.","path":["Title 4.
