Code § 42-2161.02","heading":"Membership.","body":"(a)\n(1)\nThe Task Force shall be composed of the following 9 members:\n(A)\nA low-income renter;\n(B)\nA representative of an apartment building owner or office building owner;\n(C)\nA representative of an organization that advocates for the production, preservation, and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low-income households;\n(D)\nA representative of a philanthropic organization that funds affordable housing;\n(E)\nA representative of an organization that provides supportive housing services to low-income residents, including housing counseling, financial management, in-kind assistance, or legal representation;\n(F)\nA representative with expertise in affordable housing policy from the academic or nonprofit community;\n(G)\nA representative from the for-profit residential development community;\n(H)\nA residential architect; and\n(I)\nA structural engineer.\n(2)\nOne representative each from the following District agencies shall also serve on the Task Force:\n(A)\nThe Office of the Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development;\n(B)\nThe Office of Zoning; and\n(C)\nThe Department of Housing and Community Development.\n\n(b)\n(1)\nThe Mayor may appoint the Task Force members identified in subsection (a)(1) of this section; provided, that after 90 days from the date this section becomes applicable pursuant to § 42-2161.05 [October 1, 2018], the Chairman of the Council of the District of Columbia shall appoint a member to any position that the Mayor has not yet filled.\n(2)\nThe Mayor may appoint the chair of the Task Force; provided, that the Chairman of the Council of the District of Columbia shall appoint the chair if the Mayor has not done so within 90 days after the date this section becomes applicable pursuant to § 42-2161.05 [October 1, 2018].\n\n(c)\nEach member shall serve without compensation, except that members may receive reimbursement for expenses incurred in the service of the Task Force.\n\n(d)\nThe Office of the Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development shall provide administrative support for the Task Force.\n\n(e)\nThe Task Force shall meet monthly.","path":["Title 42.
