Code § 42-3541.01","heading":"Definitions.","body":"For the purposes of this chapter, the term:\n\n(a)\n(1)\n\"Applicant\" means any person considered for, who requests to be considered for, or who intends to request to be considered for tenancy within a housing accommodation.\n(2)\n\"Arrest\" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 32-1341(2).\n(3)\n\"Conditional offer\" means an offer to rent or lease a rental unit to an applicant that is:\n(A)\nContingent on the housing provider's subsequent inquiry into the applicant's criminal record; or\n(B)\nContingent on any other eligibility criteria that the housing provider may utilize.\n(4)\n\"Conviction\" means a verdict or plea of guilty or nolo contendere.\n(5)\n\"Housing accommodation\" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 42-3501.03(14).\n(6)\n\"Housing provider\" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 42-3501.03(15).\n(7)\n\"Inquiry\" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 32-1341(8).\n(8)\n\"Pending criminal accusation\" shall mean \"criminal accusation\" as that term is defined in § 32-1341(5).\n(9)\n\"Rental unit\" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 42-3501.03(33).","path":["Title 42.
