Code § 44-105.03","heading":"Dignity.","body":"A resident shall have the right to the following:\n\n(1)\nA safe, clean, comfortable, stimulating, and homelike environment  allowing the resident to use personal belongings to the greatest extent  possible;\n\n(2)\nControl time, space, and lifestyle;\n\n(3)\nFree access to visitors of his or her choice;\n\n(4)\nTo receive and send correspondence without any restrictions;\n\n(5)\nTo maintain personal possessions to the extent the health, safety, and  well being of others is not disturbed;\n\n(6)\nTo remain in his or her living unit unless a change corresponds to the  uncoerced preference of the resident or conforms to the obligations set forth  in the resident’s contract respecting discharge and is related to the resident’s preference or to transfer conditions stipulated in his or her contract with the ALR;\n\n(7)\nTo approve his or her roommate whenever possible, if the resident is  living in a semi-private unit;\n\n(8)\nTo attend or not attend religious services of his or her choice;\n\n(9)\nTo choose activities and schedules consistent with his or her interests,  and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being;\n\n(10)\nTo interact with members of the community inside and outside the  facility and make choices about aspects of his or her life in the facility  that are significant to the resident;\n\n(11)\nTo be free from mental, verbal, emotional, sexual and physical abuse,  neglect, involuntary seclusion, and exploitation; and\n\n(12)\nTo participate in the development, implementation, and review of plans  designed to provide services to residents, including the Individualized  Service Plan.","path":["Title 44.
