Code § 47-2851.03","heading":"Categories of basic business licenses; endorsements.","body":"(a)\nBasic business licenses shall be issued by the Department under the following categories:\n(1)\nBeauty and grooming services;\n(2)\nCharitable services;\n(3)\nContractor and construction services;\n(4)\nEntertainment services;\n(5)\nEnvironmental services;\n(6)\nFood services;\n(7)\nGeneral sales and services;\n(8)\nHealth services;\n(9)\nHousing and lodging services;\n(10)\nPublic safety services; and\n(11)\nVehicular services.\n\n(b)\nOwners, managers, or promoters of carnivals or fairs, by whatsoever name called, conducted for profit or gain and not held in any building or structure licensed under this chapter shall obtain a temporary special event license from the Department.\n\n(c)\nThe Department may, through the promulgation of rules pursuant to subchapter 1 of Chapter 5 of Title 2:\n(1)\nCreate additional basic business license categories beyond those in subsection (a) of this section; except, that the total number of categories may not exceed 15; and\n(2)\nCreate and revise basic business license endorsement categories for specific business activities within each business license category of subsection (a) of this section and any additional business license categories created through rulemaking; provided, that such endorsements shall not have a cost to the licensee.","path":["Title 47.
