Code § 47-2853.185","heading":"Prohibited names.","body":"The Mayor may refuse to issue, renew, or transfer a license in a name that:\n\n(1)\nIs misleading or would constitute false advertising;\n\n(2)\nImplies a partnership, association, or corporation when a partnership, association, or corporation does not exist;\n\n(3)\nIncludes the name of a salesperson;\n\n(4)\nIs in violation of law;\n\n(5)\nIs a name which has been used by any person whose license has been suspended;\n\n(6)\nIncludes the name of a person not otherwise licensed; or\n\n(7)\nIs a name which is deceptively similar to a name used by any other licensee.","path":["Title 47.
