Code § 47-404","heading":"Account books of Collector.","body":"(a)\nIt shall be the duty of the Collector to keep in his office account books, in which shall be entered:\n(1)\nThe dates of payment of all taxes;\n(2)\nThe amounts paid;\n(3)\nThe names of the persons by whom payment has been made;\n(4)\nThe years paid for;\n(5)\nThe property paid on; and\n(6)\nThe names of the persons to whom assessed.\n\n(b)\nHis books shall at all times be open to the inspection of any officer who may be authorized by the Mayor of the District of Columbia to examine the same.","path":["Title 47.
