Code § 50-2453","heading":"Immobilization and impoundment of immobilization-eligible vehicles.","body":"(a)\nThe Department of Public Works, Metropolitan Police Department, United States Park Police, or the District of Columbia Department of Transportation is authorized to take the following actions against an immobilization-eligible vehicle:\n(1)\nRemove the vehicle from public space or private property pursuant to District law or regulation, through towing or other means, and transport the vehicle for impoundment; or\n(2)\nImmobilize the vehicle using an immobilization device.\n\n(b)\nA vehicle subject to impoundment pursuant to this section shall be taken to a District government impoundment facility or other facility as shall be determined by the Mayor.","path":["Title 50.
