Code § 50-2651","heading":"Curb loading zone management program.","body":"(a)\nThe Mayor shall establish a curb loading zone management program (“program”). The purpose of the program is to increase availability and efficiency of curb loading zones and reduce double parking by loading vehicles. The Mayor shall submit rules for this program to the Council pursuant to § 50-2652. The program rules may include:\n(1)\nEstablishing loading zone meter fees;\n(2)\nDetermining minimum curb loading zone space requirements;\n(3)\nProviding for enhanced enforcement, which may include the following:\n(A)\nIncreased fines for violations;\n(B)\nDedicated enforcement personnel;\n(C)\nImproved signage; and\n(D)\nAutomated enforcement;\n(4)\nDetermining eligibility for use of curb loading zones;\n(5)\nProviding for electronic payment cards; and\n(6)\nEstablishing requirements for monitoring loading zone performance and for adjusting meter rates, loading zone space requirements, and enforcement to improve performance.\n\n(a-1)\nNot Funded.\n\n(b)\nThe Mayor shall consult with business organizations, residents, and other appropriate stakeholders in developing the curb loading zone management program.","path":["Title 50.
