To see the current law, click this link Current Version*\n      \n\nThere is established within DDOT the following offices and divisions:\n\n(1)\nThe Office of the Director, with subordinate staff responsible for:\n(A)\nLegal affairs;\n(B)\nCivil rights matters;\n(C)\nCompliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, approved July 26, 1990 (104 Stat. 327; 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.);\n(D)\nSenior and elderly affairs; and\n(E)\nPolicy and legislative affairs;\n\n(2)\nThe Project Delivery Administration, with subordinate staff responsible for:\n(A)\nDesign and engineering and related support;\n(B)\nStreet and bridge construction project management and related support;\n(C)\nMaterial inspection and testing;\n(D)\nProject materials specification review;\n(E)\nConstruction project review and coordination;\n(F)\nConstruction contract execution;\n(G)\nIntermodal planning;\n(H)\nState Transportation Environmental Compliance;\n(I)\nProject Identification and Development;\n(J)\nDC Circulator bus service;\n(K)\nDC Streetcar service;\n(L)\nFreight and passenger rail, to the extent such authority has been delegated or required by federal law;\n(M)\nMass Transit Policy, with functions to include supporting the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (\"WMATA\") Board members and acting as a liaison between WMATA and the District government on matters including:\n(i)\nAlternative transportation; and\n(ii)\nSchool transit subsidy; and\n(N)\nTraffic safety planning, engineering, and construction;\n\n(3)\nThe Operations Administration, with subordinate staff responsible for:\n(A)\nTree planting and maintenance;\n(B)\nTree inventory management;\n(C)\nPublic space permits and records;\n(D)\nInvestigations and inspections relating to public space regulations;\n(E)\nAsset management;\n(F)\nBridge and street maintenance;\n(G)\nStreetlight management;\n(H)\nTraffic operations and safety;\n(I)\nTransportation systems management;\n(J)\nTraffic sign fabrication and installation;\n(K)\nConcurrent with any other agency’s authority to do so, the enforcement of violations of motor vehicle parking offenses and violations of motor vehicle moving offenses, where necessary to manage the flow of traffic, respond to incidents, and manage special events;\n(L)\nParking, carsharing, tour bus, and motor carrier regulation, permitting, and operations; and\n(M)\nAdvertisements on parking meters, including the back of receipts printed out by multi-space parking meters;\n\n(4)\nThe Administrative Administration, with subordinate staff responsible for:\n(A)\nHuman resources;\n(B)\nWorkforce development;\n(C)\nBudget and financial services;\n(D)\nFinancial planning and management; and\n(E)\nContracting and procurement; and\n\n(5)\nThe Performance Administration, with subordinate staff responsible for:\n(A)\nCoordinating and managing transportation system data;\n(B)\nCustomer service;\n(C)\nCoordinating and managing the agency’s fleet, warehouses, and other facilities; and\n(D)\nTechnology and information services.","path":["Title 99.
