Code § 7-122","heading":"Powers and duties.","body":"(a)\nThe Mayor’s Council shall:\n(1)\nAdvise the Mayor on matters related to physical fitness, obesity, and nutrition;\n(2)\nDevelop objectives to raise awareness of the:\n(A)\nRisks of obesity;\n(B)\nBenefits of physical activity and fitness; and\n(C)\nBenefits of healthy eating;\n(3)\nPublish an annual report on the state of physical fitness, obesity, and nutrition, including any recommendations (“fitness report”);\n(4)\nPublish an annual report detailing all gifts, donations, and other funds received and all expenditures; and\n(5)\nPerform any other duties as determined by the Mayor to be necessary or appropriate.\n\n(b)\nThe Mayor’s Council may solicit and receive contributions to support the purposes of this subchapter.","path":["Title 7.
