Code § 7-2163","heading":"Exceptions to liability.","body":"(a)\nA person is not liable under this chapter if the person proves that disclosure of, or a threat to disclose, an intimate image was made reasonably, relevantly, and in good faith:\n(1)\nTo report unlawful or unsolicited activity or in pursuance of a legal, professional, or other lawful obligation;\n(2)\nTo assist the depicted person;\n(3)\nFor legitimate medical, scientific, or educational purposes;\n(4)\nAs part of a relevant document production or filing associated with a legal proceeding; or\n(5)\nIn service of the public interest.\n\n(b)\nDisclosure of, or a threat to disclose, an intimate image is not a matter of public concern or public interest solely because the depicted individual is a public figure.","path":["Title 7.
