To see the current law (including emergency and temporary legislation, if relevant) click this link: Current Version*\n  \n\n(a)\nThere is established as a special fund the Private Security Camera Incentive Fund (\"Fund\"), which shall be administered by the Mayor in accordance with subsections (c) and (d) of this section.\n\n(b)\nRevenue from the following sources shall be deposited in the Fund:\n(1)\nFunds appropriated by the District;\n(2)\nGrants;\n(3)\nDonations from the public; and\n(4)\nDonations from private entities.\n\n(c)\nMoney in the Fund shall be used to implement the Private Security Camera Incentive Program (\"Program\"), including:\n(1)\nProviding rebates to eligible participants;\n(2)\nProviding vouchers to eligible participants; and\n(3)\nAppropriate overhead or administrative expenses related to the Program and the Fund.\n\n(d)\n(1)\nThe money deposited into the Fund, and interest earned, shall not revert to the unrestricted fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia at the end of a fiscal year, or at any other time.\n(2)\nSubject to authorization in an approved budget and financial plan, any funds appropriated in the Fund shall be continually available without regard to fiscal year limitation.","path":["Title 99.
