To see the current law (including emergency and temporary legislation, if relevant) click this link: Current Version*\n  \n\n(a)\nIn Fiscal Year 2025, the Department of Health shall establish a grocery access pilot grant program for the purpose of providing up to 1,000 eligible District residents with membership in a grocery delivery service at no cost for one year.\n\n(b)\n(1)\nTo be eligible to participate in the pilot program, an applicant shall:\n(A)\nBe a resident of the District; and\n(B)\nBe enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (\"SNAP-Ed\") program.\n(2)\nThe Department of Health shall give preference to an applicant who lives in an \"eligible area\" as that term is defined in § 47-3801(1D)(A).\n\n(c)\nAt the conclusion of the one-year pilot program, the Department of Health shall incorporate the data collected in the program in their SNAP-Ed program.\n\n(d)\nThe data collected pursuant to subsection (c) of this section shall be made available to the Council upon request.","path":["Title 99.
