Code § 7-757.03","heading":"Members of the Health Literacy Council.","body":"The Health Literacy Council shall be composed of 15 members, as follows:\n\n(a)\n(1)\nOne member shall be appointed by the Chairperson of the Council committee with oversight over the Department of Health;\n(2)\nOne member shall be the President of the University of the District of Columbia, or the President's designee;\n(3)\nOne member shall be the President of the Community College of the District of Columbia, or the President's designee;\n(4)\nOne member shall be the Executive Director of the Health Benefit Exchange Authority, or the Executive Director's designee;\n(5)\nOne member shall be the Director of the Department of Behavioral Health, or the Director's designee;\n(6)\nOne member shall be the Director of the Department of Health Care Finance, or the Director's designee;\n(7)\nOne member shall be the Director of the Department of Health, or the Director's designee; and\n(8)\nEight members shall be appointed by the Mayor, as follows:\n(A)\nOne member shall represent the Workforce Investment Council;\n(B)\nFour members shall be District residents with extensive knowledge of health resources and services, health education, and the field of health literacy programs;\n(C)\nOne member shall represent the Youth Advisory Council;\n(D)\nOne faculty member from a District of Columbia university who is a District resident with specific experience in issues of equity in health care systems; and\n(E)\nOne member with experience in primary care who is employed by a clinic or an association representing clinics.","path":["Title 7.
