Code § 7-771.05a","heading":"Assessment Fund.","body":"(a)\nThere is established as a special fund the Assessment Fund (“Fund”), which shall be administered by the Department of Health Care Finance in accordance with subsection (c) of this section.\n\n(b)\nThe Fund shall consist of revenue from the following sources:\n(1)\nUser fees; and\n(2)\nEnrollment fees.\n\n(c)\nThe Fund shall be used for the following purposes:\n(1)\nAdministration and maintenance of the Department’s provider operations;\n(2)\nEnrollment activities; and\n(3)\nHealth information exchange activities.\n\n(d)\n(1)\nThe money deposited into the Fund, and interest earned, shall not revert to the unrestricted fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia at the end of a fiscal year, or at any other time.\n(2)\nSubject to authorization by Congress, any funds appropriated in the Fund shall be continually available without regard to fiscal year limitation.","path":["Title 7.
